Had a new denture made and I cannot tell you how delighted I am !!! I cannot even distinguish it from my own teeth it is utterly amazing!! Thank you so to the lovely young man who did this for me !! This has got to be the best practice in Scotland!!!!

I went to St Andrews dental care with some tepridation! I wasn’t really convinced that there would be no pain for my implant. However it was true! Stuart and team treated me with the utmost care and attention throughout the process. I would very much recommend this practice.

I went to St Andrews Dental Care after being with the NHS for many years but starting to feel increasingly let down and concerned about the care I was receiving.This culminated in a tooth getting broken and having to wear a partial denture which I hated. I consulted Stuart who spent a lot of time looking at the issues I had, and after getting some very good remedial general dental work, I started the process for an implant.The process was quite long as I needed to have my bone built back up, but at all times the care and attention was excellent.I am left with a new front tooth which perfectly matches my natural teeth.I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and this practice. Indeed I have now signed up for regular care here.

St Andrews Dental Care has been an overall excellent and trusted clinic for my dental needs. I have had a missing tooth for years, with little progress or clear path forward, and I am so happy to say that I have just had a successful dental implant surgery.This means so much to me as I’ve been given conflicting advice for years about what is best for me. Until I came here and I have so much more clarity. The receptionists are so kind and helpful, there are payment plans to suit different budgets, and everything has been explained clearly every step of the way. A special shout out to Claire and Stuart for all of their help and support throughout the process of my implant.Would definitely recommend this dental clinic if you are looking for high quality dental implant or orthodontic care.

I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr Farmer. Both he and his assistant were fantastic throughout the procedure really putting me at ease. A phone call the following morning to check how I was feeling was really welcome, and shown a real care for patients. It really was a pain free experience and I can’t recommend them enough.

I had my wisdom tooth removed by claire today. I must say that in all dentists I have been to before, this was the best experience I've had. Claire was very professional and caring throughout the procedure. I felt no pain or distress through it. Very good dentish and all staff are extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

I can't describe how grateful I am for this practice. Everyone is wonderful, and they helped me--a person they didn't know, on holiday from the States, who suffered an emergency from a previous oral surgery.I'd emailed the affiliate office in Dundee, closer to where I was, but they didn't handle the level of care I needed but asked permission to forward my inquiry to St. Andrews. Within the hour, Christina from St. Andrews reached out to me.This is when I had an inkling of how incredible this office is.Christina said Stuart, the oral surgeon with the proper expertise in the area I needed, would be happy to see me, and could I provide some information from my U.S. surgeon (whom I had been trying to reach, to no avail). I sent her the information, and said I'd not yet received a reply. She could not find an email on the website, so she called--the U.S.I was miserable, barely able to eat, and the problems I was having were NOT typical for my past surgery, so I was terrified if I didn't get help, the implications would be worse, as every day I could discern my issues growing progressively worse. But Christina was able to squeeze me into Stuart's schedule as soon right after he returned from leave.Stuart's credentials were impeccable, and it showed in when it mattered most: It turned out Stuart did not have exactly the right instruments that would have made what he needed to do to "patch me up" until I could have the problem fixed permanently in the U.S. And this is THE most important part of this review and why I tell this longer story:Stuart, had to think on his feet and figure out what tools would work to get the job done correctly. You see, medicine is a science, but I have always heard good doctors/dentists say that it is also an art. Because Stuart is an expert at what he does, with years of experience, training--and training others, because he travels and keeps current with research and best practices, he was able to think fast about what could work.There was one moment when he thought he might have to send me to the lab in Dundee for just one last thing. But then he said maybe he had something in a bag at the end of the counter... and he tried it; his next words were, "it's a miracle."I replied, "you're a genius."He spent almost two hours fixing me up. When I tell you I had been in tears for 2-3 weeks, even wondering if it was fixable, I'm not exaggerating.I felt like hugging both him and Elle (his assistant for my appt--also wonderful, kind. Elle has amazing eyesight and can find the smallest things that drop on the floor! She spotted and sanitized what I couldn't even see!) Elle is a perfect assistant and made me feel cared for as well.I actually never asked the cost; probably no one could tell me since they wouldn't have known what needed done. But the cost was absolutely fair and reasonable. There was no padded charge they tried to make up and take advantage of the way some places might. I paid for a long and involved visit in a highly qualified office, where he saved my mouth, allowed me to eat, and gave me hope to enjoy the rest of my summer. I can't tell you how much that meant to me.Rebecca, yet another radiant and friendly person that gives a lovely image to this practice, checked me out. Christina had left for the day.When I emailed Christina to thank her for doing so much to help me, she admitted she checked with Rebecca later to see that I was taken care of, and that basically explains the heart of this office.While they're not NHS, if you can manage a private care office, choose this one. Most of all, you need medical professionals who think deeply and strategically when situations are not clear cut. I cannot recommend St. Andrews Dental Care highly enough.PS: I am leaving this review over a week after my appt, simply to note that Stuart's work really did do the job and I have been able to eat, and have no complications; my appt. to have the entire process redone is next month in the States, but thanks to Stuart, it's no longer an emergency.

Had my wisdom tooth removed today, it all went smoothly with no pain. Claire took good care of me by asking if I was ok on numerous occasions, making sure I was handling the whole procedure well. Also Claire’s assistant made me feel at ease. The lady’s in the reception were very polite.

I would highly recommend this practice. I had a consultation with Hayley and she discussed my options over a coffee and then booked me in with the Dentist who specialised in what i wanted. Throughout my treatment Hayley kept in constant contact and even checked in on me after my appointments. I was offered some lovely extras too which included a eyemask and lipbalm ! I had a damaged front tooth post which had to be removed by Dr Farmer .So no front teeth 🥴 A synthetic bone graft was necessary due to infection. Then a titanium implant put in . Five months to heal then hooray . Two lovely new front teeth.Great treatment.Thank you so much .Norman McDicken

Absolutely over the moon with my treatment from Claire Seifert. I was initially apprehensive but after my first appointment i knew I had found my new Dental Practice. Claire was professional, respectful and most of all i felt very comfortable.I can’t believe I am now smiling after being so self conscious for many years. Fractured my tooth whilst on a skiing holiday. Phoned around a lot of dentists trying to get an appointment with no luck until I happened upon St Andrews Dental Care. They were very understanding about the hole in my smile and fitted me in very quickly for an initial assessment and a temporary tooth at the same appointment to keep me going, while we plan the next step. I would highly recommend this dentist practice. Fantastic service. Thank you very much to all the staff.

I just wanted to say a few words in recognition of Sebastian Mylchreest at the St Andrews Dental Care & Implant Clinic. I had to have a root canal and a new crown fitted during the C-19 restrictions as my own dentist was prohibited to carry out the work due to lockdown restrictions.Sebastian carried out a first rate job, he was extremely professional and very friendly, in addition to explaining the dental work as he proceeded with the treatment. The experience was as pain-free as you are likely to get when visiting a dentist. I found Sebastian to be genuine and extremely genial and would recommend him with no reservations. Thank you so much for a great job, I am very happy with my treatment and the result. 👍

I had an appointment for a scale and polish with airflow (stain removal treatment). Eilidh did an amazing job as per usual. I have sensitive teeth but my treatment was pain free. Morgan who was nursing did an excellent job and was very pleasant. Both Patty and Alana at front of house were friendly and professional. 100% recommend this practice for all your dental treatment.

Eilidh and Morgan both made me feel very at ease when I had worries about my teeth. They took their time and made sure I left the appointment feeling at ease. I then saw Sebastian and Aimee who investigated some suspicious pain and worked out the problem quickly. Alana was amazing in reception as well. 5 stars!

I’ve dealt with Chris and Eilidh since being at the practice in the past year. They’re both incredibly friendly, professional and easy to talk to. They show genuine care and give you tonnes of information on how to best take care of your dental hygiene in the long run as well as plan for future care you may need. The dental nurses are always friendly and helpful. The receptionists have saved me a few headaches in my time there by helping me out if I’m running late, locked in my house accidentally or unable to make an appointment in the coming days. Never thought I’d say I’d enjoy going to the dentist!

I recently visited a friend in Edinburgh. I talked about wanting my teeth whitened. He recommended to contact St Andrew’s Dental Care and see one of their Dentists Chris. I made an appointment and seen Chris the next day. Although I have a fear of dentists Chris immediately put me at ease. Following receiving one of most detailed check ups I ever had, Chris clearly explained my options for teeth whitening and appeared extremely knowledgeable about this field. I opted for the rubber teeth mouth guards. This involved a totally painless process where Chris used their specialist teeth scanning device. I explained I was returning to Northern Ireland in 7 days. Chris pulled out all the stops to get the lab to produce the plastic moulds from the scan of my teeth and then made the plastic whitening trays. I was able to collect them before I left. The items including the whitening liquid were presented in very professional packaging and I got clear instructions on how to use the whitening liquid before I left. I found Chris to provide a superb professional and customer personable service. I have used the mouth plastic trays and I am delighted with the the result. If you are looking for teeth whitening service I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Chris at St Andrew’s Dental Care. I do plan to get my teeth straightened using the Invisalign Treatment and know Chris is an expert in this field and will be going to no other dentist to carry out this further treatment.

I recently visited the practice to have lip fillers. I was apprehensive about the end result as I wanted my lips a little fuller but still very natural in appearance. I visited St Andrews Dental care for the first time and had a fantastic experience. I had a scale and polish treatment with airflow. Eilidh, the hygienist spent time explaining how to keep my gums healthy and clean. The treatment itself was completely pain free and it was over before I knew it! Treated myself to Invisalign to straighten my front top and bottom teeth which had bothered me over the years, the treatment has proved to be a thoroughly worthwhile and quick experience with amazing results from wearing the clear invisible aligners, and with the option of a very affordable monthly payment plan.Sebastian took me through the treatment process with consistent professional care and advice. The process was extremely straight forward showing results as soon as 3/4 weeks from the start, I would highly recommend Sebastian and his team at St Andrews Care.

Some gentle persuasion from Chris and I finally agreed to have my Iffy wisdom tooth out having guarded it for about 50Years!After 40 minutes in Sebastian's consulting room with much reassurance, lots of local anaesthetic, a bit of tooth shuggling I left without my wisdom tooth (and one other) having felt not a twinge of pain or discomfort. Thankyou for your kindness and professionalism - BRILLIANT!I first went to see Chris to ask his advice on what (if anything) could be done to reduce the ugly distortion of my front teeth or at least prevent them getting any worse. When he suggested using INVISALIGN I have to admit I was quite sceptical that anything so apparently gentle and unobtrusive could deal with the challenge! Six months on the results have been absolutely wonderful - I can grin and chat without the urge to hide my ugly teeth. A huge thankyou to Chris and the INVISALIGN team for the advice, encouragement and support - I could not be more delighted with the outcome.

It is difficult to write about Sebastian and the team without sounding cliched. But the simple truth is they are superb! I had two front teeth replaced by an implant. It was a fascinating experience as Sebastian performed some of the most impressive precision engineering I have ever seen. From the latest 3D imaging of your needs to the final product I simply found myself sitting in the chair thinking about this incredible process. If you are nervous about going to the dentist, do not hesitate to use this clinic. As someone put it, I have been given back a set of camera-ready gnashers. Amazing results and first-class treatment received - I whole-heartedly recommend Sebastian Mylchreest and the whole team. I thought I was too old for my teeth to be sorted out (late 40s) but Sebastian has given me my smile back again! Using comfortable braces, top and bottom, within a relatively short period of time, my teeth have been realigned - my teeth now look like they were always meant to! This treatment has also stopped me from further damaging and chipping my teeth, and has given me a more comfortable bite. I have been a patient at this practice since it opened, sometime last century! Throughout the years I have always been 100% satisfied with all my care and treatment from all the staff. The place is spotlessly clean, the equipment thoroughly modern and efficient, and I just know I am SAFE in the hands of the dental surgeons and dental nurses. This week I got two new front teeth (crowns) and I am ready for Christmas (and a whole lot more). I am in a prepayment plan so that even my bills are relatively pain-free.
